Hey! We are Brandon, Ashley, Sophia, Brooklyn, and Kolton McCain, the owners of The Kids’ Playspace.

Brandon and I both attended Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where our hearts started to take root in Durant, but we had no clue how deep they’d truly get. After moving away and starting a family, God brought us back in 2016 and our heart to serve the community continues to grow. Since then, our heart to serve the community has only grown. Prior and current experience of pastoring, sitting on several nonprofit boards, being a realtor & foster/adoptive parents, have all shaped our heart to building connections and meeting needs.

When our daughter Sophia was a toddler, we had a vision of an indoor playspace for both kids and caregivers to be able to come together in a safe and intentional way. It was something I, as a mom, craved so much. Over the years, I made other spaces and places work, though still holding onto that vision, I simply just waited on God’s timing. After lots of prayer, brainstorming and a village of loved ones of the community coming together, we are watching this dream come to life-and I feel so honored to be a part of this space and we couldn’t be more excited!

Our vision that was placed on our hearts way back then is still the same now; to create a safe and intentional indoor playspace where kids can play, imagine, and create friendships. Where caregivers can relax, connect, and join in on the imaginative fun.

From business professionals to foster and adoptive families, work-from-home or stay-at-home moms, to homeschool families and communities.
